WHAT TO EXPECT - Click here for Photos
Experience the thrill of sight
fishing in the Ten Thousand Islands for Snook, Redfish and Tarpon from a flats
skiff in less that 2 feet of water. See the quarry, stalk and then properly
present the lure or bait to the target and watch the strike. You will be on
board a classic skiff, a 16ft Silver King Signature Series with a 90hp Mercury
engine and all the tackle and equipment you will need. Using the finest tackle
available such as G. Loomis fly and spin rods, Daiwa Black Gold series spin
reels, Fly Logic fly reels you will begin your journey to some of best shallow
water fishing available in South West Florida. Depending on water and weather
conditions I will either pole the boat from the elevated platform or utilize the
trolling motor to quietly move to give you the best opportunities. Stealth is
the word in the skinny water sneaking up on the Snook on the edge of the
mangrove shoreline or the Redfish cruising the grass flat or the laid up Tarpon
sunning itself in a shallow bay using Berkley Gulp baits, top water plugs or
live baits. I practice catch and release fishing but one for dinner now and then
is acceptable. Fishing license, all tackle, drinking water and ice will be
provided.
